Day 1. Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel in Yerevan . Excursion in Yerevan, historical museum of Armenia, Cascade complex, welcome party. This day with the museums will help you to understand Armenia much more better.
Day 2. 10:00 am transfer from Yerevan to Garni pagan temple and Geghard monastery complex digged and carved in a one big rock (1 hour by car). From Geghard monastery complex we will start hiking to Geghama mountains. Hiking duration for the first day is 5 – 7 hours (15km). We will put the tents near to the high attitude Dragon lake close to 10 000 years old dragonstones.
Day 3. Breakfast at 8:00 am. Moving to the direction of ancient (7000 years old) Geghama petroglyphs. After the petroglyphs we will climb mount Nazeli (3312m) with a nice and small volcanic lake on the top and from there to mount Ajdahak (3597) with another bigger and more beautifull volcanic lake on the top. From the top, if the weather is good, we will have a fantastic view of Sevan lake. After the top we will go down and put the tents near the small river, that comes from the melting snows. Hiking duration for this day 6 – 7 hours (13km).
Day 4. Breakfast at 8:00 am. Our todays destination is high attitude Akna lake. On the way to Akna lake we will pass a lot of other small lakes and nice rivers. We will see the steps of wild animals: wolves, bears. If we are lucky enough we may see also some animals from distance. We will put the tents near beautiful Akna lake. Hiking duration for this day is 6-7 hours (10km).
Day 5. Breakfast at 8:00 am. Today is the last day in Geghama mountains. After hiking nearly 7 hours (14 km) to the direction of Sevan lake, we will reach Caxkashen village. Near the village we will put the tents and will enjoy Armenian traditional barbeque with homemade wine. On our way to the campground we will also meet some yezidies (small ethnic group of people who spend the biggest part of their life in the mountains) , will have some coffee with them and will explore their hospitality.
Day 6. Breakfast at 8:00 am. The car will take us to the nice lake shore of Sevan, where we will swim, have a rest and enjoy our time. In the evening we will drive back to Yerevan for good-bye party.
Day 7. Free day, transportation to the airport.

Information about the organization of the trip
•If you need an off road vehicle for taking backpacks and other heavy things in the mountains, it will cost extra 200 000 AMD (500 USD) for the whole group. The car can take staff of more than 20 people. But in case of experienced and small groups this car is not necessary at all.
•The food will be prepared and the camp will be organized by our staff.
• The temperature in Geghama mountains at the beginnig of the summer is from 15-20 C at the day time and 13-8 C during the night, but with our good tents and sleeping bags you have nothing to worry about. In July and August the temperature is 25-30 C, so you will be able even to swim in the lakes.
